More ppl should consider San Diego:

• Access to Mexico-TJ borders
• 8th most largest city in US
• Solid food, music, art scene
• Great beaches everywhere
What else am I missing?
“Hi Kevin, I wanted to check in to see if you were interested in selling your property”
Do this 50 times a day, work under a superstar broker, sound normal, and be prepared to provide great market info.
You’re a millionaire in a few years.
Ohhhhh… you know, sumthin
LMAO!!!
Believe it or not, I think those Encinitas condos over Whole Foods will sell rather easily. That’s a great part of town for something like that, and the people who are attracted to residential-over-commercial will love having a grocery store there (instead of the usual retail which doesn’t do the residents any good).
I heard the condos on the north west corner of Encinitas and the PCH didn’t sell too well, and they have a better location in my opinion than the ones above Whole Foods. It will be interesting to see what pricing they come out with.
There’s going to be a lot of noise in the Whole Food condos too. Trains on one side and motorcycles cruising along PCH on the other side. Also going to have a lot of noise coming from downstairs with grocery store unloading and customers going in and out. Don’t count on sleeping in on the weekends.
I wonder if this Whole Foods is going to have a big bakery and deli like the one in UTC? Could emit a lot of smells upstairs.
Don’t get me wrong, I am looking forward to being able to finally walk to a grocery store. I just question the idea of having condos above a big grocery store and boardering a railroad track.
A building with… “love handles?”
I’m with alles klar. The sound of the trucks backing up to the loading docks (beep beep beep beep) every morning at 5am will get old, really quick.
My sister lives a block from a Henries – and if the windows are open, you can definitely hear the trucks backing up to the dock. If you lived right above… Oye!
I’m excited about whole foods!
Also Encinitas smog test…the owner is a great guy. He is actually an award winning flower grower specializng in irises. He is a fine neighbor for anyone to have 🙂
Lavandula is the Latin name for lavender, the plant. They could have called the street “Lavender,” I suppose, but that has a separate connotation that they probably didn’t want to go with.
I didn’t even know Encinitas had a downtown. Where are the condos above the Whole Foods? I’ve always drempt of living above WF!
I live in Seattle and that Whole Paycheck store bought a piece of property, tore down a business that had been there for decades, dug a huge frigin hole in the ground and then walked away from it. That was 4 years ago and the hole is STILL there. This is Seattle not Harrisburg PA. I hope they bleed dry in that store they are building in CA now.
