Yesterday I had the distinct pleasure of touring the Wheeler J. Bailey house in La Jolla, thanks to reader Curt who introduced me to the gracious owners, Dave, Marlene, and Jean.

No but house two doors up is listed for $7.9 million for 2,600sf built about the same time.

Very nice. One perk we in the biz have is seeing this kind of stuff once in a while. Not often, not many places are this well designed and built in any era.
