Lady Gaga bought this house, according to the comment section.  Here’s another of the youtube comments:

Frank Zappa had a fascinating career, recording more than 60 albums before he died in 1993 at the age of 52. Much of that work was done in his famous home recording studio, the Utility Muffin Research Kitchen.

It sold for $5,250,000 in 2016:

Mrs Dawg and I almost put a bid in on Cris Cross’ condo with equally impressive studio in Santa Monica back in the early 80s. He was asking a celbrity premium that a few months later looked like a bargain.

Ah, Zappa! When I was 16, I met a guy while on vacation. I lived in the East Bay. He lived about an hour away. I came home from vacation and the neighbors across the street said a guy on a Ducati motorcycle had left something for me since we weren’t home.

It was a Mothers of Invention album “Freak Out”. (Zappa was a member) with the song, “Susie Creamcheese, what’s gotten into you?”

Months later, he was drafted into the Vietnam War. Ah, memories…

This home ought to be made into a museum, making it available to the public.
