Many years ago, we purchased a home in Carlsbad, using a realtor that was recommended to us - Jim Klinge. Fast forward to 2025, we recently had the privilege of selling 2 homes in Carlsbad, CA and didn't hesitate to reach out to Jim and Donna Klinge of Klinge Realty Group to guide us through the sales. The transactions were very different, each with its own unique situation, opportunities and challenges. From start to finish, Donna and Jim helped navigate the pre-sale preparation, the listing, showing of the house, buyer negotiations, the final close and all of the paperwork and decisions in between. What stands out with both transactions is the professionalism of Jim and Donna (and their team), wonderful communication (timely, relevant, concise), their deep understanding of market dynamics (setting realistic expectations), their access to top-notch contractors, and last, their ability to guide us across the finish line successfully. We wouldn't hesitate to use Jim and Donna in the future and highly recommend them for anyone looking to buy or sell a property in North San Diego County.
This just came over from a friend/client, and helps put life into perspective:
Hey mom. Im okay. The two helicopters that crashed were ours. The huey was the one that I was on about an hour before it all happened. Of the 6 (2 cobra pilots, 2 huey and 2 crew chiefs) only the right seat huey pilot and the left side crew chief survived. I can’t say names or anything, but I knew all of them. It not the same without them here. Weve been pretty fucked up with it all. The other huey pilot that died was our OIC in Iraq. And the crew chief was one of our friends. It really sucks that this happened. One of the cobra pilots was from 367. He came out with us to get everything ready for his squadron. The other cobra guy had a 1 yr old and wife that’s 8.5 months pregnant. We miss them all very much and have the 2 survivors in our prayers. If you could have people pray for them we’d appreciate it. I’m not religious or anything but the crew chief is going to germany cause his lungs are all fucked up, he has internal bleeding and a dislocated hip as well as a broken pelvis. The pilot lost his left leg from the knee down. His right leg is really fucked up but they say itll make it. He has to get rushed to the states for heart surgery and hes not doing well. Ive got to get going. I love and miss you all very much and cant wait to get out of this place.
Less than 10 days.
You see the headline in the paper and it just washes over you. Reading something like that gives you just a tiny taste of what the situation must actually be like. I’m sure living in it is ten thousand times worse.
That’s messed up. I’m so sorry for your friend, and will keep them all in our prayers. Thanks for sharing the note, Jim.
Oh goodness, that is tough.
Thank you for sharing, Jim.
That’s an awesome video…
I just said a prayer. “less than 10 days!” – WOW!
Jim, nice job on the demo! I fully support immediate removal of “Cultured Marble”…. George Carlin never used that in one of his acts did he? It seems to dovetail nicely with Jumbo Shrimp!
With 20% of Californians out of work it looks like your contractor hires illegals! I hope they have green cards!
Did you find the laborers at home depot?
Jim, just to clarify… who’s house is this? Is it a foreclosure that you are renovating to get it to sell?
JtR, thanks for sharing the letter and they are surely in all our prayers. Too bad the commander in chief doesn’t give a rats a@s.
