You see things I would rarely see if I did a very quick tour of a house, Jim. I can’t understand a combo lock on a master closet. And the buyers can’t see what was inside there? And was that lock on the master door on the outside or inside?
With what you pointed out, the whole house gave me the creeps. And it went pending after only six days! It’ll be interesting to hear if the buyer is an investor or a family…
Susie, you are watching too much CSI!!!! The lock on the master door looked like a simple slide bolt, most likely to keep the little kids from going into Mom and Dad’s room when they aren’t upstairs and one of the kids wakes up from a nap. The combo lock on closet would be a great and responsible idea if, for example, the parents owned some guns. From the paint scheme of the bedrooms, it looks like they had a bunch of small boys, probably wild and out of control, based on the locks!!
