The FAA issues are a big deal. A guy in LA who does a lot of aerial photography has switched from drones entirely to manned helicopters due to the new crackdown. (http://mi6films.com/)

So the FAA is supposed to make some rules by 2015 for UAVs in national airspace.
Liability & safety is a huge concern which is what’s been delaying any approval by FAA.

Using a drone to shoot video of some of the larger estates here in Sonoma County would be a huge improvement over anything I have seen to date.
A freind of mine runs a company called “Giant Inflatables”. amoungst other things they manufacture helium filled dirigibles radio controlled for this purpose. They work just like the Goodyear blimp.
