La Jolla Rambler

Most would prefer a smaller house with a more traditional floor plan, but for La Jolla this is a lot of square footage for the money:

I love a good billiards room!

You are right that the floor plan needs to be fixed. I would consolidate away at least 3 of those little rooms down that long hallway.

I believe that would be a perfect house for wealthy snowbirds, though. If I were a wealthy snowbird I’d buy it and fix it.

    “Snowbird” -lol

Is that a new catch word for a rich senior citizen? Never heard that one before.

    dull house … …..

So if this person sucked all the equity out of the house before walking away, do they pay taxes on that? If not, that’s like robbing a bank!

    Jim,

Any chance you’ll be allowed inside the Crick house? Their photos weren’t that good in depicting scale.

BTW, all those ultrawide-angle photos on real estate websites are nauseating. Hate getting there and the “guest suite” is nothing more than a closet with a window in it – but shooting it with a 10mm lense makes it look like the ballroom. Thanks

Wasted a couple of hours driving to an open house after getting fooled by the “wide angle effect”. Never again.
