Coronado Condos

There are still markets where sellers are ignoring the obvious, and hope to keep values afloat.

Some have held up remarkably well…..at least for now.  Here’s an example:

The aesthetic of a Soviet ghetto combined with living in a war-like zone. It truely is a win win.

have friends who live at ‘the shores’. they think where they live is sooo unique (yea, go to miami). with the exception of visiting kids/grandkids, i think everyone who lives there is 60+. super strict on rules which can be good and bad. not sure what’s up with all the security. can hear noise in neighboring units. coronado in the summer is not fun… way too crowded, 1 1/2 hour wait at most restaurants for dinner. winter is great. don’t get the appeal of the ‘del’.. old/overpriced.

Hey, some of would pay extra to watch the F-18’s land. . .I paid extra for a Lindbergh Airport view. . .of course I was a former pilot.

I think Cindy McCaine (Senator McCaine’s wife) owns a condo there at Coronado Shores – if he had been elected, it would have been the Western Whitehouse.

Still over 800K for a one bedroom is excessive – I think likely it should be in the 695K range.

    Miami with bigger waves….

What percentage of the residents are from the East Coast and chose San Diego over Florida because it was closer to the grandkids?

IMHO it’s all excessive, but no more so than that ancient Encinitas place back a few threads.
