New Listing Update

Our new listing has been on the MLS for 24 hours, and the Zillow views and saves are solid. With people using Zillow for their house porn, you can’t put too much stock into the views – but the saves should be those who have more than a casual interest, hopefully!

The zestimate hasn’t changed yet, but Redfin bumped their estimate by $488,339 from the previous day:

    We interrupt this new JTR listing for an important message .
    Jim, I’ve missed bubbleinfo! I pulled out three old-school answering machines with saved messages this morning. You were on two! One to wish me a happy birthday and the other about details of your voice over of the house I bought in late 2010 in Boise. My friend did the video. You commented like you walked around my house. Good times, my friend!

    And this just in from your (unofficial) Boise/Meridian correspondent: Our market has cooled from its scorching run the last 2- 2 1/2 years (how could it not?) but still only about a month’s inventory on MLS. So although there may not be as many multiple offers a few hours after a listing hits the MLS, it’s still HOT here.

    We built with a premier builder in October, 2018. Somehow we built in the hottest zip and the hottest subdivision. Agents have given their opinion to the value: Up 53.8%+ in 3 years. Yeah, it’s not San Diego, Jim, but no one around here has seen this kind of appreciation for decades.

    Um, we’re NOT selling. Also hat tip to you. If I hadn’t taken your advice in 2010, I would have never moved here and met my one and only “Mystery Man.” I owe you a beer!
