That’s the gate to Blacks beach you’re looking for. Some of the best surfing in SD and you can get naked on the beach. On big days that entire street will be full of cars.

Actually, that’s the least-used Blacks access by far, seeing virtually zero beach traffic. Very lightly traveled. It’s called the Troll Bridge Trail, and the gate is visible at 5:47. It drops you well south of the main Blacks surf spot and the weirdo zone further north.
Alternate routes include the Goat Trail, The Road, the Ho Chi Minh trail, and the Glider Path.
Neighborhood is called Scripps Estates. Hidden, old school and quiet. Great place to live.
