It is a fact of life – concrete is prone to cracking.

Nobody ever talks about it much because it sounds like a big problem, but most homes that have concrete foundations have some sort of cracking.  The little cracks are left alone and forgotten, and the bigger ones – more than a 1/4-inch wide – are filled and sealed with epoxy.

The engineers all say the same thing – the epoxy repair works fine for stopping moisture from intruding, and as long as there isn’t any more movement that is usually the end of it.

Of course, when you go to sell, you need a great agent who knows their way around cracks and can talk intelligently about them so buyers don’t get alarmed.
