We have known Jim & Donna Klinge for over a dozen years, having met them in Carlsbad where our children went to the same school. As long time North County residents, it was a no- brainer for us to have the Klinges be our eyes and ears for San Diego real estate in general and North County in particular. As my military career caused our family to move all over the country and overseas to Asia, Europe and the Pacific, we trusted Jim and Donna to help keep our house in Carlsbad rented with reliable and respectful tenants for over 10 years.
Naturally, when the time came to sell our beloved Carlsbad home to pursue a rural lifestyle in retirement out of California, we could think of no better team to represent us than Jim and Donna. They immediately went to work to update our house built in 2004 to current-day standards and trends — in 2 short months they transformed it into a literal modern-day masterpiece. We trusted their judgement implicitly and followed 100% of their recommended changes. When our house finally came on the market, there was a blizzard of serious interest, we had multiple offers by the third day and it sold in just 5 days after a frenzied bidding war for 20% above our asking price! The investment we made in upgrades recommended by Jim and Donna yielded a 4-fold return, in the process setting a new high water mark for a house sold in our community.
In our view, there are no better real estate professionals in all of San Diego than Jim and Donna Klinge. Buying or selling, you must run and beg Jim and Donna Klinge to represent you! Our family will never forget Jim, Donna, and their whole team at Compass — we are forever grateful to them.
that is a great preview. nice complement to your video tours with commentary, as it allows you to spend time and spin around to get a better feel of the layout!
I just spent $750 to get a traditional floorplan done for my house + the cad files. (1st step in the permitting process.)
If you could get the floorplan from the 3D model this would pay for itself. Buyers would be purchasing the house + correct floorplans. Most buyers are going to do some modifications anyway after buying. If you had something like this 3D model it would save a lot of time letting contractors into your home.
Wow, Jim! It’s just like walking through the house. Much like when you walk thru w/ your video camera. I think it’s just another awesome tool in real estate.
Should be real boom for out-of-state buyers to look at prospective homes. Of course, I would still buy a plane ticket to look in person, but this time-saving tool would be an extraordinary aid to a “short list” with 3-4 homes on it.
I agree with what everyone said. Btw, I’m on an iMac, Safari, 10.10.3
It’s important these tools work easily with the different browsers/systems.
2 thumbs up.
The 3d looks great. It’s very functional. However, it seems a bit sterile. What it needs is a nice jtr audio overlay. Maybe a “Push here for Jim’s take” at various parts of the house.
using the 3D tour takes me back to my college days….err, nights, spent playing Doom on the computer.
As an evil landlord I can see how this will clear up any number of disputes.
