Easily one of the ugliest houses I have ever seen. The ratio of garage to house is too big.
The new San Marcos high they are building is amazing
Dear Davidson – I like the first level of your current home plans (as videoed by Jim). If you could build me my dream home (baby boomer, empty nester), it would be all rooms on one level. Bring down the master suite and just one of those way too many bedrooms, a bathroom, and of course the laundry room. And, an additional garage bay (tandem one of those bays would work). Keep it under 2,600 sq. ft..
speaking of noise and flipping – check this out JtR.

just on the market this week. sitting open and unfinished for the last 4-5 years. it looks like it’s priced as if it was completely finished at $510/. maybe the seller is stuck and this is what they NEED to get out of it before defaulting – but after so many years?
Garage Mahal ish but I still like the curb appeal. Constant traffic flow noise is much better then stop-start scenario. I’ve lived in both and stop-start you never acclimate to while constant noise becomes unoticable.
We did the photos on that place, then they added their own virtual staging on top. Another house by the same team: our photos + virtual staging. Can you tell?

Wife and I rented for 6 years in Carlsbad (San Marcos School District). Last year we finally bought and stayed in the same neighborhood. We could have moved to San Dieguito or Carlsbad schools but saw no reason to. We have been very happy at Carrillo elementary. Hopefully we will be just as happy at the middle school next year.
