Weight-loss guru Jenny Craig has sold her home near San Diego to her daughter and son-in-law for $6.1 million. It was listed for nearly $9 million last December.
The 10,000-square-foot home sits on 3.4 acres in Rancho Santa Fe, about 30 miles north of downtown San Diego. The property includes an 11-car garage built by Ms. Craig and her late husband, Sidney. They renovated the interior of the four-bedroom home. There’s a guest house, tennis court, pool and spa.
Buyers Michelle and Duayne Weinger, who plan to redesign the home, recently listed their four-bedroom home nearby for $5 million. They bought it in 2005 for $3.9 million.
The Weingers renovated that nearly 8,000-square-foot home, a Spanish-style ranch house on more than three acres. The Weinger property includes a one-bedroom guest house, exercise pavilion and tennis court, and a pool and open-air pool cabana with an outdoor kitchen.
Ms. Craig still has a 229-acre equestrian estate in Rancho Santa Fe on the market, for $25 million.
