Reasonable Old Spanish

An Old Spanish-style flipper between Kensington and SDSU – MAP. I hate when they are active when I leave, and pending when I return, which is what happened here:

That’s a sweet neighborhood Jim. One of the first non-MLS offers I made upon arriving to San Diego last Spring was a little old lady house on El Cerrito that was in a trust. I think I offered mid 300’s and the trustee ended up painting it, removing the metal awnings and refinishing the hardwoods and sold it as-is for 490k. That little pocket North of El Cajon Blvd is great, even with its close proximity to what used to be a real seedy strip. That house looks relatively untouched, probably why it sold so quick.

Thanks for the tour. I wanted to see that one. It will probably go over asking price. El Cerritos is a nice ‘hidden’ pocket of SD, with some fine examples of the Spanish style.

Here is a California Monterey across from Balboa Park, with a big history. Seems prime for a JTR tour.

I plan to check it out on Friday’s caravan.

Hey, Auntie Agent: Could you get some snaps of the Chambers Stove-top in the kitchen? Probably the top of its kind back in the early 60’s. Priceless.

Gosh, I love this house so much, thanks for the tour. 🙂

Nice house. I especially like the hardwood floors. Living and dining room nice size.

That one was for you Ray!

Peter, Sorry but that Upas house is not going to be on caravan and there is no lock box. The listing agent is the only one doing the showings. This is typically for the Westside of LA but San Diego…
