SDSU assistant Chris Acker just made us aware on @JonAndJim that over 50 former Aztecs that played for Steve Fisher and Brian Dutcher will be at the Final Four on Saturday. What an incredible bond.
Because few people service a mortgage for all 30 years (they get divorced, refinance, move or die), mortgage rates are compared to the 10-Year Treasury Note.
While Treasury yields have fallen, mortgage rates are stuck in the mid-6% area.
Huge spread vs. 10-year = 304bps.
Was that Mike Brady I heard in the background? BTW, I personally like the Lava Rocks and, minus the paper paneling and say the drapes, I like the other retro motifs of the 70’s–nice vibe.
Its so old its new again!…well maybe not this time around 🙂
The wallpaper paneling fooled me good… I thought it was the real thing!
I actually like the retro phone and stereo in the wall. They should have the Carpenters “Yesterday Once More” playing on that system while showing the house 🙂
Drat! Local Boy beat me to the Brady Bunch reference! 🙂
Can’t stand the 70s stuff anymore. It was as if society was in the middle of puberty! Awkward, clumsy, and full of zits!
Speaking as a Gen Xer, I *love* time capsules like this. To the 70s haters, at least these places had real style and character to them, unlike the beige stucco/granite/two tone paint McHouses built in the past few decades.
Oh, and your ringtone was absolutely spot on for the house and that wall phone…LOL!
If this was truly from the 70`s there would be a whole lot more avocado green in that kitchen.
I’m goin’ straight to eBay. I want those brass ducks on the wall!
I am not a fan of wood paneling or wallpaper. This has both. Yuck!
