    There was a commenter first on Ben’s Housing Bubble Blog and then on CR named “Crispy&Cole”; IIRC ran the Bakersfield Bubble blog, too. C&C was one of his favorite topics, and he had lots of good info.

    It just amazes me that it has taken 5 years for anything to really happen to put these guys behind bars, even for a little while.

    Crispy couldn’t have been more right. Funny guy. I still remember him commenting one night a few years ago that he was cracking open an expensive bottle of wine he had been saving for the day that C&C’s legal troubles started. I’d bet he’s opening the champagne this weekend.
