Hugh Hefner and his wife, Kimberley, have sold their personal residence, next to the Playboy mansion, for $18 million. It had been listed since early March at $27,995,000.
The 7,300-square-foot English Manor-style house, built in 1929, has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The two-story home sits behind private gates on 2.3 flat acres that back up to the Los Angeles Country Club.
The house sits right next door to the legendary Playboy mansion in Holmby Hills, where Hef lives with his three girlfriends and is known to throw killer parties. Perhaps that’s a selling point for some buyers, but 24-hour-a-day camera crews filming the “Girls Next Door” series (among many other imaginable disturbances) are not most people’s idea of the perfect neighbor.
