Jim, have you tried using a wireless “Lavalier Microphone” or lapel microphone with your smartphone, while making your walkthrough videos?
I think that using a lapel microphone will really improve the audio on your walkthrough videos, since the mic on the smartphone is facing away from you and might be obscured by your hand placement while filming.
