Wasn’t it great back then before the crowds and the traffic!
Where we go next? I’m thinking mountain states!
I don’t know – should I take my own tour and report back?
I’d go through Flagstaff and Snowflake, AZ, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Taos, and then probably the Austin-to-San Antonio tour. Mountain states? Colorado is impossible (slightly lower prices + weed) and the rest are fairly remote. Utah is probably the best?
Whenever I come back to San Diego after a vacation out of state, I realize how lucky we are to live here in the North County Costal area. Jerks may have moved here in the last 20 years, but it is still a beautiful area.
