Are you thinking of making one last move?
My best advice? Do it while you still can!
It is physically, mentally, and emotionally taxing to sell your long-time home – especially sorting through all your stuff/junk and throwing out the family heirlooms once your kids convince you they don’t want it.
In February, we will be doing a seminar called Downsizing in 2020 – The Last Move.
Stay tuned for more details!
my mother in law would agree. She was contemplating a move for some time now in order to be closer to us and the grandkids, but she was hesitant about the time frame. she recently had a knee replaced and that lit a fire under her. She quickly realized……”move now before some thing really bad happens health wise.”
She has lived in the same barely 1800 sq ft home in Ventura County and even that is too much house for her to manage.
We will be calling on you soon, JtR!!
100% My sage and very sharp 104 year old grandmother, who voluntarily (without telling any of us) sold her house and moved to senior independent living 20 years ago, where she still happily resides, always says: “It is never the right time to move/downsize until it is too late.” Funny that we had to turn to her to help us convince her children to move to a senior independent living condo.
Any San Diego kids wondering where their parents can live independently in a condo with some services, activities, transportation and a dining room, but not including any care, should check out the condos at Pacific Regent on Nobel in UTC.
Balderdash I say! Pure Malarky! Nothing but gobbledygook!
Well some people like you need to upsize! 🙂
Up or down, I don’t care. Just move!
