I’ve tracked this on numerous houses. Happens every time. I wonder if this same market manipulation goes on with Redfin listed properties? One would think that could get a ‘broker’ in hot water, no?
You would think! But with this much water under the bridge, it seems the industry will tolerate anything.
There’s only one thing we know for sure.
Redfin doesn’t care what you, I, or anyone else thinks about their shady deceptive tactics.
They will keep advertising a 1% listing fee (read the fine print – it is 1.5%), they will keep making you think you can click here and see a house in an hour (when that schedule is only when their door-openers are available, not the house), and they will always call themselves full-service to make you think they provide the same service as experienced professionals. But in reality, they don’t.
