I guess I don’t understand it… Jiji on October 6, 2014 at 6:09 am The owners will probably be bidding as well, But hey I will give it shot, maybe no one will show up at the auction LOL. Jim the Realtor on October 6, 2014 at 6:33 am why is it going to auction and with no reserve? They are trying to build an platform and brand to ease the discomfort sellers have with the format – especially the ‘no reserve’. Art and high-end cars are sold by auction, and it is the best format by far for selling a property on a certain day. Home sellers’ egos are plagued with the idea that it might sell for more later, and holding out for the two in the bush is an American pastime. Auctions are used all the time in Australia, and it is inevitable that they will become popular here – once the bank-owned stigma is dis-engaged. tj & the bear on October 6, 2014 at 6:00 pm I’ll second Susie — gorgeous! Jim, any guesstimate on what it’ll bring?
