that looks like some serious rain. It seems when it rains in s cal there are a lot of wrecks on the freeways. I remember driving up 15 one morning in the rain and people were flying by me like it wasn’t raining. Nice chevy truck.
I think the biggest problem driving those old trucks around is the bad gas mileage.
I picked up a clean 1984 chevy 2500 longbed for 600.00 last summer. Had a bad valve but I drove it home. Pulled the intake off and the head with the bad valve and had it fixed for 80 and put it back together. Runs awesome. Has the 700 tranny with overdrive. Good truck to keep around to haul stuff.
If you are buying or looking its a good time to get into prospective homes today and early this week to look for stained ceilings meaning roof leaks and windows that are leaking or the dual pane seal leaks and is fogged. Pooling water near foundation es no bueno. They all look great on one of our 350 sunny days per year!
…and where is that single story at with the pool in the back yard?
@doughboy
great advice, but how much you wanna’ bet that some listings will suddenly be unavailable for showings until things dry out for precisely those reasons you listed.
The 7″ at Palomar is the good stuff because all of that water (a ton of it) will be watering all that Earth from from the mountain top to the ocean.
You gotta post the rest of the video of that home with the half-pipe in the back yard. I miss the trashed out house videos from the golden years of the crash.
The half pipe looked like it was designed and built by a government committee. One side was lower than the other.
