In la Jolla last year, there were 97 detached homes that sold for less than $1,000,000.

Today there are ten for sale – here is one:

    Yes, and the cost will be around $1,050,000 after removing the structure, leaving you a small pad (that really needs a retaining wall) with partial ocean view – and three buyers are willing to pay cash for it?

    Zillow an SDLookup show that this house sold for $1.15M back in 2006. However, the property taxes are currently less than $2k a year. How’d that happen?

    There must be a mix-up in there somewhere because the MLS & tax rolls aren’t showing any previous sale.
