Three months ago newly listed condos for sale would be lucky to get 2-3 showings their first week.
Today we got ten showing requests within 3 Hours of a unit going on the market.
It's unbelievable how quickly the market can change
Is the housing market resilient to rising rates? Context matters and each rising-rate era is different. Even if rising rates persist in 2021, the context is good for the housing market. https://blog.firstam.com/economics/why-the-housing-market-can-thrive-if-a-new-rising-rate-era-begins
Looks like a great place to raise kids. Embrace imperfection.
If I didn’t already own, I’d be interested in this.
Agreed, how many times have you seen almost-an-acre lot for sale in Leucadia?
Pretty amazing spot, always wondered what was up in that corner. Obviously there are “no fees” but I am guessing the water bill to maintain the jungle is at least $500 a month, plus more for the gardener (even for the urban farmer, that’s a lot to maintain)? Plus the pool. But man, what a party you could have.
I bet Tom T. could turn that into a showplace. Beautiful lot though.
Labyrinth the movie from 1986 finally is selling their lot?
Is that a big greenhouse beyond the back of the property? Any chemical dust/vapor/spray concerns? This applies to a lot of houses around Leucadia area dotted with greenhouses. A real concern or just some overblown notion?

Love the property, not so much that rustic maze.
p.s.: You need to urge Tom Tarrant to kick out more places. He can make out like a bandit in these market conditions.
Bad floorplan, fantastic porch and back yard.
That is a lot of lawn to mow.

Shadash, you can pay for a whole mess of gardeners for what you’re saving by not paying MR and HOA fees every month. 🙂
