There aren’t that many 2-acre parcels this close to the heart of the RSF village, so the walkability may have played a role in this sale. I think we’ll see more liquidations of long-time owners throughout the region – expect to bring your tool box:

I hate the turned wood posts (not sure what you call those things–it’s very 1970s) and see the need for wallpaper, paint, a new kitchen and at least one bath remodel, but it’s a very presentable house. The light is nice and it just looks spacious and comfy.
The guest house is really cute, in its quirky 1970s way.
I wonder what Tom Tarrant would do with one of these. I really hate the thought of dropping cutting edge 2011 baths and kitchens onto this property. Is there some way to bring it up to date, while honoring the good things about the house?
Now you’re talkin. New carpet and hard floor and enjoy it. Raised my kids in a place just like that from ’87 to ’05 – big mid fitties built rancher next to the village. Guest house, pool, b-ball, trampo, bbq, kids, in-laws, out-laws, imperfection, noise, chaos, mess and constant non-stop fun. I highly recommend it.
Jim: Have you seen this one and if so, what did you think of it?

Not just a ‘pink phone’ but a ‘princess touchtone pink phone.’ A real classic.
La Sencilla? There are seven offers in….so far.
Real estate never sleeps.
La Sencilla listing shows $1260 HOA monthly. Why is it so high? What are the amenities and services?
Should be annual, not monthly, and the benefits include having the RSF Art Jury look over your remodel plans very closely.
