I had a really fun time today! It was really cool to see how you do the videos and it was informative & entertaining as usual. The City Ventures development was interesting as well….I loved how the guy recognized you. haha.
But I thought he did a good job and was honest and didn’t try to hide what was there. I was impressed.
And I’m looking forward to the game! My Dad is especially excited as he knows a lot more about baseball than I do. Hopefully I’ll win the CV contest! If I do, I won’t be able to go because I’m leaving for Spain for three months to study abroad and then finishing (oh god) college at the end of March.
That house is quite a place….and I swear it’s bigger than a .51 acre lot.
Readers….what do you think will happen? Jim thinks it’ll be subdivided, which is the logical reason and that’s probably what will happen. Although the guy across the street, who built that spectacular custom, didn’t divide that lot. In fact, he combined two of them…I believe.
Again…this was really cool and I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks!

The exterior and the living room will really appeal to Mid-Century Modern lovers, I think.
Here’s a good website to poke around to see what MCM people like:

The magazine comes out quarterly and there’s a book.
The “man cave” was probably a cut flower processing building. The thick doors and walls indicate cold storage or at least a cooling room for the merchandise. I wonder if this guy was more of a distributor than a grower.
So when is College Joe coming to work at JtR? Does he have his license yet?
You could give two tickets to me College Joe.
The most important question JtM, does it have 220?
Another Investor, I don’t have my license and I’ll get at it some point. But I am going to Spain for 3 months starting Sept. 21…so probably after I graduate, which will be March (after the winter quarter).
And I am trying to figure out what I want to do with my life….haha. The current plan is working at an embassy in South/Central America and then law school in 2013.
Daniel, I would give them to you….but I’m going with my Dad & brother. It should be fun. Not going to lie, I don’t know too much about baseball…but I enjoy the games regardless.
What would the vacant lot be worth if it were subdivided? $350K?
I was talking about the Chargers tickets. Went to the Padres two weeks ago on Jim’s dime. They are great seats. Just pay attention when a left handed batter is at the plate.
Oh, okay. Hopefully I win those! Although two in a row would be hard to do.
I’m really looking forward to the game….about two weeks ago I went and I sat in the same seats…but it was behind the visiting team.
And I will watch out for those balls! I have a vision of me getting smacked by one and hopefully that won’t happen.
I was at the Doger game when Manny Mota nailed a kid. Not pretty.
Ya, I would imagine. At least I’m going with my Dad, who’s a doctor, but not sure he can do anything when a ball flies into my face and crushes my skull.
Awesome! I’m a sucker for nice garage work spaces. The cut flower cooler could, of course be a wine cellar and homebrew area. That’s a necessity when one is restoring an old beach cruiser or woody.
OTOH, a “pharmaceutical” grower could go in there and pay the place off in a few years.
