If you don’t count the personal hit-and-runs with Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Tommy Lasorda, Lexi Thompson, Exene Cervenka, John Doe, Eddie Van Halen, and Bob Dylan – and that Kato Kaelin is my fraternity brother – then the biggest celebrity that I have ever shook hands with and been acknowledged as a human being was Robbie Krieger. He played a free lunchtime gig at CSUF in 1983 when I was the concert director.
