No Inventory Uptick Expected

National inventory in green on left – it looks like they expect another 50% drop next year!

On the right, they are predicting that there will be less than 1 foreclosure filing per 1,000 households by the end of next year. The banks figured it out – just stop foreclosing:

  1. I gotta quit paying my mortgage.

  2. Wait until after Jan 1 when the banks are prevented from dual-tracking – they have to run you through the entire loan-mod waterfall before filing the first NOD.

We may not see many – if any – foreclosures during the first half of 2013.

  3. I’ve been living mortgage free for the past 3 years. It allows me to save a huge chunk of savings.
