I was on a garden tour last weekend in La Jolla. That night I researched the owners of the higher-end homes. Mostly pi/bk lawyers, plastic surgeons, and business owners. The most notable was a billionaire named Ron Burkle.

Public record is a very useful tool. It’s unbelievable how much info you can find out about almost anyone you want. Renters get a bit more privacy, but not much more.
