I think the CHP was looking for easy money; expired licenses, etc.
My ’66 is street legal but it the load was worrisome. Once we threw the BBQ on top, I high-tailed it out of there!

Aw, looks like a pretty good time. Yeah, ukulele over insipid ice cream truck track – good choice (and the kids liked it). Think the “Good Will” drop off worked as an opportunity for charity. The “Good Year” blimp was most fortuitious – things are looking up in North County!

Awesome idea. Looks like a great time was had by all.
Nice job, Jim. You’re not only a scholar (of real estate), but also a gentleman.

LOL, I “outed” clearfund to Osidebuyer, and then moments later that I should not have done that if he wanted to stay “stealthy”. Atleast I didn’t do it again later. 🙂

Thanks for having us, Jim! The kids loved it and it was great to meet you in person.
So now, in addition to a house, it looks like we’re in the market for a couple o’ ukes! What can you do?
Thanks for the fun time, Jim.
We really enjoyed talking to Uncle Bob, too! He’s convinced us we need to buy a ukulele for the kids. 🙂
Oh, it was fun to see everyone’s kids. It’s nice to see the “human” side of some of the posters.

Yeah, Jim, that CHP officer was eyeballing you, big time! 😉
Aw, bummer, didn’t get to meet CA Renter. What was the cop writing tickets for? Those cars were parked at a *Park* and ride!
Next time we’ll have to do introductions or something because I didn’t know a few people were there I wanted to say hi to.
Yep, as I left the parking lot following Jim out, I wondered about the cop writing tickets. What could the ticket be for…parking in a parking lot?
Jee, Erica – good chatting with you.
Jim, I think you got it right on your video above (about 7:33). It feels like a community after so many years.
We’ll have to do name tags next time — wish I had known who some of you were, too. Looking forward to the next get-together! 🙂
Hey, enjoyed meeting everyone! Hi David 😉
Yeah, does anyone know why the cop was writing tickets? I couldn’t figure that one out, either.

Sorry I couldn’t be there, Jim–looks fun. I am traveling and in New Jersey and Washington, DC, or else I wouldn’t have been able to resist.
I am so bummed I missed it because of my airline issues and me getting stranded in Dallas. I was planning on going and really looked forward to it.
It looked like it was a lot of fun!
Nice get together Jim–I wish I could have enjoyed it a little longer but the wife left groceries in the car and was panicing.

Way to go Jim
Jim – Wanted to thank you for the BBQ, introductions, and enjoyable time at the P-N-R.
Was a great experience to put faces with handles…but to second Jeeman, little weird to introduce oneself as ‘clearfund’, etc.
Thanks again, and my best to all the bubbleheads who were there in spirit as well.
Thanks so much, Jim! Your generous nature is appreciated as much as your honesty and insightful analysis.
Enjoyed the video. It’s neat to see faces to go along with “names.” Congrats on another great event, Jim!
Thanks for the dogs, ice cream, and conversation Jim! Nice to finally meet you in person, as well as Jeeman, clearfund and others.
Next time Carlsbad Pizza Port!
Looks like a great get-together, sorry I wasn’t able to be there.
Here I was talking to clearfund and never knew it was clearfund. We definitely need nametags next time. LOL.
I like the stealthy approach…
