Nice night-lights view from the master. From the lights, nice view of your night-life in the master.
Nice house, but the underground living and the fault-lines (even at no extra charge) would make me hesitate big-time. The upgrades are nice! Gives me ideas for my place.
Jeeman | April 21st, 2010 at 10:21 pmBevacqua’s home…nice.
Tommy Lasorda loved Mr. Bevacqua:
“I have never, ever since I’ve managed, ever told a pitcher to throw at anybody, nor will I ever. And if I ever did, I certainly wouldn’t make them throw at a $%$%^’n .130 hitter like [Joe] Lefebvre…or !@#$@!’n [Kurt] Bevacqua who couldn’t hit water if he fell out of a !@$%$’n boat. And I guarantee you this, that when I pitched and I was gonna pitch against a !@$%^&’n team that had guys on it like Bevacqua, I’d send a !$#@%’n limousine to get the *&*&$%’er to make sure he was in the mother&^%$’n lineup….”
clearfund | April 21st, 2010 at 10:24 pmYeah, that’s probably 30′ x 30′ or so. My family room is about 30′ x 15′ and that looks about double the size.
Other than the aesthetics of those cracks, what is the precise damage, long term, if you don’t take care of them? Will it leak? Will the roof cave in?
Geotpf | April 21st, 2010 at 11:27 pm“Stolen” flat screen? Not so sure about that one. Who knows when they removed it. It isn’t like they took the stove, fridge, and, well, everything including the kitchen sink.
Former RB Resident | April 22nd, 2010 at 7:33 amThat’s my kind of house. Nice…
shadash | April 22nd, 2010 at 7:44 amI have to agree. I wouldn’t consider the TV to have been “stolen.” You would expect the former owner to take that with them unless otherwise specified in the sales agreement.
The house looks like it was built into a slope instead of on top of it. Is it possible the slope is actually pushing against the house, causing all the cracks?
François Caron | April 22nd, 2010 at 8:21 amWe live below an over watered slope, also by a golf course, our slab cracking was caused by the expansive soil under the house repeatively getting wet and drying out. A $50k french drain below the slope, new side yard drains and fake backyard grass (no watering) fixed our problem. We did consult with a good Geological Engineer before buying. He did a a lot of work to find out about the geological history of site including research to determine that the building pads were “cut and filled” properly.
DJ | April 22nd, 2010 at 10:37 amBTW Jim great site. We sold in 4/07 and rented until 1/08.
opps, rented until 1/09…
DJ | April 22nd, 2010 at 10:52 amThis is a good deal and I would be quite surprised if the bidding doesn’t go into the mid 8′s.
pemeliza | April 22nd, 2010 at 2:07 pm800K is a lot for a crack house. Thanks, I will be here all week
Anonymous | April 22nd, 2010 at 2:43 pmAnonymous – that is my kind of humor…I actually laughed out loud at that.
