Funny how the comments in that article say you are being "negative." You're just pointing out the FACTS.

Maybe they think you ought to just go along with your realtor lines, "and over here, we have the lovely mauve curtains, circa 1965...vintage decor always commands a higher price, and you'd be wise to over-bid for this fine piece of property."

Keep up the good work, Jim!

Jim

Congrats on the Nightline. Let's hope you are an inspiration to other realators and even other professionals in other industries who feel it is better to "not lie but not really tell the truth" than to be straight and up front with their clients.

This week I am attending a medical convention in Philadelphia. Tonight, a doctor from San Francisco asked me if I thought the real estate market had hit bottom in San Diego and I said not in any market he would be interested in. Another physician (presently trying to short sale her house in San Diego) replied "my real estate agent said we have reached the bottom." I replied, "do you believe your agent?" Her response, "she wouldn't lie to me, we go to the same church."

Hey! Last time I saw Jim he was talking his way out of being arrested (honest). That kind of talent deserves the recognition he's getting.

<i>"Seems like a real honest guy," Harwood said. "But you know, he's a realtor, so that could just be really, really good cover."</i>

LOL!!!

*Chuckle* I've changed my mind about the house, Jim. I'd like to make an offer on that home right next to the trains (for sentimental reasons). All aboard!
