Wow. Upside down layout, vinyl countertops–I can hardly decide which lovely features I like best! You almost had me with the matching mauve tub and sinks, but when you didn’t inlcude the matching “throne”–aah, well, I guess I’ll just have to wait for something else.
/snark off
Nice AXO reference BTW.

Some people really are STUPID. What we’re they thinking?

$889,900 = gag me with a spoon!

The listing should mention its only a 3 block walk to the finest Kareoke in downtown Carlsbad at “The Alley”.
This is a weird home, and its lot is in the middle of a circlular street so you are on display as everyone drives around BV circle, although there are only maybe 15 homes in it. In all fairness, that lot across the street has been vacant for the 20 years I have known this street, so odds of it being built on in todays economy is slim. That lot, minus the mosquito born illnesses is primo. In North county today that is considered ‘Open Space”!

They took the counter tops?
Love the “grande foyer.”
Suggested name for this estate; “Vista de Zancudo”
My wife and I have discussed in the past what the future trend in counter tops will be. Plastic was one of them but we’re convinced fur counter tops will be all the rage soon.
Seriously, I have an idea to address granite’s failings that will still be “green” and yet even more expensive (e.g. trendy) than plain granite: a granite base with bamboo slab inlaid work surfaces. The bamboo is more pliant (ever drop a dish on a granite countertop?) quieter, and replacable if damaged or stained. Plus you could sell additional inlays with patterns for seasons, holidays, family crests, etc. Now where’s that patent application….

The bubble gave us lots of fake Realtors (C) — Fauxtors. Take the wheels off all the Fauxtors’ reprosessed Mercedes and melt them down into countertops. You’ll be hip deep in shiny alloy countertops until the cows come home.

This video is proof the coast still has a long, long way down still to go. 900k. Unbelievable.
