Chirp!! Why do they ALL do that??
Aztec | February 25th, 2009 at 7:27 pmJim, the asset manager is dyslexic. He meant $139,000.
Actually, I’d probably be willing to offer an all cash deal. $31,900. would work for me.
No_Such_Reality | February 25th, 2009 at 7:56 pmI’ll offer $8.99 for the runner.
Blissful Ignoramus | February 25th, 2009 at 8:31 pmWoohoo! Houses with motorcycle parking for everyone!
greenlander | February 25th, 2009 at 8:38 pmThat’s the new closette feature. You pay extra for that.
Dwip | February 25th, 2009 at 9:00 pmI’m guessing someone will overpay at $154,500. Too many digits for my stomach.
Rob Dawg | February 25th, 2009 at 11:18 pmThat neighborhood looked like a dump so don’t know why anyone would pay 300k plus even if it was fixed up. Nice carpet over the fence next door. I’m sure once it sells for 150k that comp will do wonders for the neighbors hoping on Obama’s refinance plan even if it was already a hopeless option anyway.
mybleachhouse | February 26th, 2009 at 1:30 amYou can’t get a loan (mortgage) with the kitchen unfinished. The house needs to be in ‘livable’ condition to get one (small deficiencies might be overlooked but not the ones in that property). I am surprised that the bank contact doesn’t understand that!! Must be green!
You could get a bridge loan or a construction loan to buy the property though (but it has a higher interest rate). Once the kitchen is finished, you would be able to replace the bridge or construction loan with a normal mortgage.
