Jonathan | January 19th, 2009 at 2:30 pmPardon my asking this but… Are these video profiles of homes supposed to be tongue in cheek? Or are you seriously trying to sell these? I need to hear some more enthusiastic realtor speak before I can become interested in some of these turkeys.
-Jonathan
I rememeber that listing from a while back during the frenzy when I was looking to purchase (I gould be wrong though). Johnathan, you want ‘more enthusiatic realtor speak’? Come on now. That would make Jim, well, average, normal and you can find many of those Realtors surfing the web at any local coffee shop. Keep up the good work Jim. Long time reader, first time poster.
3clicks from da Beach | January 19th, 2009 at 2:36 pmNo fancy sales pitch necessary – they’re not building any more land west of the 5!
The Blur | January 19th, 2009 at 2:45 pmJonathan – these are tongue-in-cheek. I’m trying to be careful because I’m out of REO listings, and these are listings by other agents. The price is the lowest around, but it would have to be lower before I could get enthusiastic about it (if ever).
Jim the Realtor | January 19th, 2009 at 3:15 pmI want my ice cream truck!
FreedomCM | January 19th, 2009 at 3:43 pmBest video yet! Jim, you should talk to TLC or HGTV about getting your own show.
IRE | January 19th, 2009 at 3:53 pmIRE is right Jim… you need to do a reality TV show. Something like “And they want how much for that?” You could profile the owner, the listing agent, how the owner chose the listing agent, and the method used to arrive at an asking price. Maybe get a few buyer reactions too. It’d be a winner!

“Just need to get a few ‘International Consultants’ in here to weed the backyard.”
Wassup | January 19th, 2009 at 5:28 pmRebates available on the Carlsbad home? Maybe a Raffle?
Grapefruit League | January 19th, 2009 at 5:32 pmThe show could have guest stars every week who drive up in an ice cream truck then roll down the window to chat.
Dwip | January 19th, 2009 at 6:54 pmThe show could have guest stars every week who drive up in an ice cream truck then roll down the window to chat.
Now that would be funny!
CA renter | January 19th, 2009 at 10:27 pmIt’s not quite as ugly as that one with the bright green paint from two or three weeks ago…
greenlander | January 20th, 2009 at 12:57 amIncorporate your website into the TV show and you would get MASSIVE amounts of postings.
Also, Interview me as a potential buyer.
shadash | January 20th, 2009 at 6:49 amI’m betting this is off Las Flores, probably Davis avenue. A good buddy of mine bought one like this on the opposite side of the street on a nice sized lot. He knocked it flat and built a custom home, with all the bedrooms and living rooms on the ocean side of the house. The second story deck has an amazing 180 degree view of the Pacific. He also insulated the hell out of the freeway side, with expensive windows to block out the noise.
Worked out pretty well…. but at almost $400k, this house isn’t worth it.
