Wifey says I should do warm-and-fuzzy posts too, so here’s one for the ladies.

We went to an old friend’s wedding yesterday, where hats were encouraged:

Here’s the wedding cake:

OK,OK, for the fellas - after the wedding:

After reading Zach Fox’s story about some pump-and-dumpers in Escondido:

http://www.nctimes.com/articles/2008/08/16/business/z49597e3f40b4acfc8825749700767894.txt

it made me think that it’s probably a good time to mention old what’s her name’s latest track record – a quick review shows over $2.5 million in losses to the lenders on just six properties.

In the meantime, enjoy the warm-and-fuzzy while it lasts!

  1. Nice cake! That looks like a pretty fun wedding. I bet that’s a really happy couple!

Were the Blue Angels a coincidence, or connected to the wedding??

  2. Thanks for the link to the pump-n-dumpers in Escondido. WAMU has to be one the worst-run banks ever. I just hope to heck that those loans weren’t sold to Fannie or Freddie …

  3. Opening day at Del Mar Racetrack?

  4. Jim,

Your wife is a beautiful woman.

  5. What a cute idea! The wedding pictures are going to be awesome.

  6. JtR-
Was that the bride with your better half or did someone (gasp) wear white to a wedding?

  7. No, that was another one of my wife’s friends.

By the way, she noted that it is pale pink, not white.

    (pale pink??)

  8. Looks like a fun time, Jim! You’re lucky to have such an beautiful, supportive wife! :)

  9. Also — no offense to your wife’s friends — but your wife was one of the few who didn’t have a silly hat. :)
