‘Klinge’ pronounced
We pronounce it with a silent ‘e’.
"kling", like the klingons, although they are a little better-looking

Klinge is actually a German word, meaning blade (like a knife blade).
No silent "e" in German though.
simone | August 1st, 2007 at 2:24 pmMan, you dealing with a knife when buying and selling real estate?
Are you of German descent, Jim?
RL | August 1st, 2007 at 4:09 pmThe proper German pronunciation is "kling-ga", with a soft ‘a’, right?
We’re Dutch – my grandfather grew up in Holland, Michigan, the youngest of 13 kids. But most were sisters though, so there aren’t that many Klinges left in Michigan, but there are hundreds of relatives.
I think it means I’m sharp (?)

David Bowie’s real name is "David Jones" he picked "Bowie" in honor of a Bowie knife to cut through the bullshit.
I wonder if Jim knows David Bowie?
LakerJoe | August 3rd, 2007 at 2:01 amMe and Dave go way back. Saw him at the Fabulous Forum on the China Girl tour. Not a huge fan but respect his creativity and ability to change as needed. Working on some of that for myself currently.
